    With commercial industries continuing to grow, the manufacturing and fabrication companies need skilled, hard working welders to keep up with current demand. With an average of 16,340 jobs in the state, welders have lots of options to choose from. Depending on the job, skilled welders can make an average salary of $38,000 including company benefits and retirement plans. While most welders are in the industrial field, there are many opportunities to work for your self.

    With Ohio being a center of science and industry, there are other movements then just industries that matter to Ohioans. Being a part of the Fuel Cell Corridor and the largest manufacturer of plastics and rubber means there will always be plenty of job opportunity in the state. Ohio also has one of the biggest vehicle manufacturing, research and development, and raw steel production rates in the country. This state accounts for over 15% of the nations raw output.
